This is just one of those road-warrior must-haves, SO useful when certain situations arise. Notebook power on long trips, mobile phone charger if you don't have a specific car charger, or for any type of 120v device that can be used in the car.
During a 5-day power outage several years ago, one of our folks used a device like this to stay fully connected - blackberry tethered to the notebook, all powered in the car by this little gem.
