These are pretty handy to have in the car to charge the MP3 player or phone if you don't have a car charger.  You'll still need the USB cable though.

Admittedly, this might be a pricing mistake, but this is an advertised price for a 22" NEC LCD display for $46.

It's back - a rock-bottom price on a 3-license copy of a 'total' protection security package.

As we've said before, there are several major players in this game (Kapersky, McAfee, Symantec, AVG) and opinions vary on which tool is best.  Is this the best one?  Depends on who you want to believe.  Is this a good value even if it is not the best?  Certainly.

If cost is the reason you DON'T have some sort of security tool running on your system, you'll have to re-think that excuse.  Free shipping - do the math - this will cost less than $14 to cover 3 systems.  More math - that comes to $0.10 per WEEK.  A dime per week.

This definitely meets the current 'flash drive value threshold' of < $2 / GB, so here it is.  Not a whole lot more to say about it, except BUY.COM offers free shipping on the order.

USB  flash drives like this are handy for complementing a standard backup / disaster recovery plan, since most people simply don't have more than 8GB of REALLY CRITICAL files on their systems - a lot of the bigger files are music, photos, and videos, and those are often stored somewhere else as well.

The REALLY CRITICAL files are the ones you're currently working with, your 'active' files.  All the current and recently completed projects, the miscellaneous stuff that you save off to a file as a temporary holding place, or attachments from emails that you've saved off to your hard drive.  You can probably fit it all on this 8GB flash drive - and will be glad you did if your notebook hard drive decides it's time to go into permanent hibernation.  If that happens, this $13 will be a much better spend than the $350 charge for data recovery from a dead hard drive (which we can also arrange).

This is just a great value on a notebook.  You can read all the specs and draw your own conclusions.  Sure, it's a consumer-class, not business-class, but our opinion is this is a bunch of notebook for $500.
